First
I'm Susan. I'm a doctoral student and, in my spare time, a baker and a cook. And also an eater. I'm starting this blog to have a separate space to write about cooking and dining, and also possibly to encourage my slow ass to learn to use my digital camera to document these activities.
Since some of the writers I like have a passionate love of food that pops up in their writing, I'll also be posting some literary excerpts about food and cooking. (Or, since one of those writers is Evelyn Waugh, I'll post catty comments about midcentury literary figures that contain mentions of food.)
There are possibly more logical titles for a blog about cooking and eating and reading about the same than the tiny bite of a Wallace Stevens poem I have chosen, but I like this one and anyway most of the more logical ones are taken already.
